I have never used thread less earring but...

I have never used thread less earring but didn't think they'd present an issue. Unfortunately, I was able to secure them the first time but they would not secure again and kept popping off. I followed the directions regarding gently bending and all that happened was the pole broke off. Now I have no pinky promise
