I rebought these earrings since I lost one and the other was damaged after falling out then getting stepped on. Sometimes they get caught on a towel when I'm drying my hair or on clothing when changing but that's just kind of the way it is with flat back earrings. Other than them occasionally getting caught on something and falling out as a result, they're great. I never take them out. They're super comfy and cute.
